Shifting the perspective : A healthier approach for obesity

Here In Mediclinic Middle east, the road map of the obesity management team started in Jan 2023 with a symposium targeted to healthcare professionals to tackle Obesity as disease and treatment modalities. This event been followed by virtual support groups targeted to community and individuals to educate about roots of obesity and to share motivational patients stories. While On the Obesity day several events were launched. A Survey targeted to physicians has been conducted to gather insights on obesity. The data collected from this survey will be used to gain a better understanding of the challenges and best practices associated with treating obesity. In addition to a Booth supported by the Cards let’s talk Obesity and educational leaflets for patients.
